Debbie Sanders was born in California and raised in Texas. Her father, being born and raised in Hawaii, gave her a love for the Islands. So in 2000, Debbie and her husband Jonathan started a church in Kailua, Hawaii that today is a thriving assembly. Debbie loves to travel and has visited 32 countries, many in which she and her husband have had the privilege to teach and minister. During her missionary term in the Middle East, she was on the Board of Directors of the National American Women’s Club in Amman, Jordan as Director of Meetings, and enjoyed being extensively involved in music in the American Embassy as well as the Jordanian Parliament. Debbie has been involved with the Ladies Ministries of Hawaii for the past 5 years and currently serves on the National Regional Committee. Debbie also currently serves as the director of Today’s Christian Girl, a national ministry for girls aged 10 - 18. Debbie loves the ocean and music, as well as different cultures, foods and languages. But her greatest joy is spending time with her husband and three daughters.
SoShawna Gray was born in Missouri but grew up in Louisiana. Her parents were always faithful to the house of God and their greatest desire was to see all their children living for God. SoShawna followed in the footsteps of her older siblings, and was baptized and received the Holy Ghost at age 6. In her teen years she taught Sunday School and published a church newsletter. Upon high school graduation, she attended Christian Life College where she received an A.A. in Bible and Theology and a B.A. in Biblical Studies. Throughout college she served as an editor for the yearbook and newsletter and temporarily taught Sunday School at a Korean daughter work. She was married to Elton Gray in 2004 and along with him, feels a strong desire to minister in the Hawaiian Islands. Currently serving as the Ladies Ministry leader for The Rock church, SoShawna has a love for the church ladies and a burden to see them excel in their individual walks with God. At home, she loves to read, play with her Spaniel, Daisy, and try to be the best wife to Elton and the best mother to Samuel that she can be.
Frances Vannoy was born and raised in South Texas. From an early age, her mother instilled in her a love for God and a passion for truth. In recent years Frances was privileged to have served as secretary for the Presbyter of the South Texas District. Her ministries have been diverse, including teaching Sunday School, Pre K / Kindergarten at Solid Rock Christian Academy, and much church administration work. She was married to Ben Vannoy in February 2004, and since that time they have both felt the call of God to do a work in Hawaii. Since being here, the Lord has opened many new doors of ministry. In their local assembly Ben and Frances serve as Assistant to the Pastor, and Frances is the church Secretary/Treasurer. She is blessed to currently be serving as Hawaii Ladies District Secretary. Frances also holds the position of office manager at a State Farm Insurance company. When she is blessed with free time (those 5 minutes every now and then), she loves to read, bake, and play with her little terrier, Dexter.
