Nathan & Dea Schlupp

Nathan and Dea have been married almost 13 years.  During that time, they have been involved in a variety of ministries.  While living in Nebraska, Nathan and Dea were youth directors at Revival Tabernacle and were on the District Youth Committee.  Dea also taught Sunday School and assisted the church secretary/treasurer.  In 1998, they responded to the call for house parents at Tupelo Children’s Mansion in Mississippi where they worked with abused, neglected and orphaned children.  Nathan also assisted with the Bible Quiz Team, and Dea taught Sunday School.

When it was time to leave Mississippi, their desire was to come to Hawaii; however, it was not in God’s timing and they moved for what they knew would be only a season to Connecticut.  There Nathan was a member of the Board of Trustee of Heritage United Pentecostal Church, did a term as Treasurer/Secretary and was a home fellowship leader.  Dea taught at Heritage Christian School for three years and was involved in Children’s ministry.  While in Connecticut Nathan and Dea also consider their time as foster parents as a large part of their ministry. Dea currently directs and teaches Sunday School at The Rock Kailua. Nathan assists her with her role as Sunday School Leader and is also the interim Men’s Ministry Leader.
